Research in the Department of Political Science occurs both within the traditional disciplinary subfields and across them. Our faculty and students may specialize in different areas or employ different methods, but they tend to share substantive research interests and themes, and eager to promote Political Science knownledge.

The Department also maintains affiliations with many programs and centers around the University. These bring scholars from multiple academic fields into conversation. Currently, we have established several research centers within the department. The purpose is to coordinate research agenda, organize conferences and symposiums and strengthen the dialogue by gathering experts and scholars from certain research field through an institutionalized method.
